Aerial yoga combines traditional asana (the physical postures of yoga) and yoga philosophies with the aerial arts.

Aerial Yoga asanas (postures) are supported by a soft and aerial fabric hammock. This creates traction and opens up your body gently and intuitively. The fabric hammock is helpful for balance but also has therapeutic qualities like physical release, refined strength, good energy flow and awareness of breath and body.

Whilst supported by the hammock, you will learn to let go into gravity, deepen your practice and connect deeper with your body and mind.

The purpose of the hammock is to provide support through your yoga flow, all the while improving flexibility and range of motion. The hammock also takes pressure off certain areas of the body like the head and shoulders.
